This is why the: you can always go to a&e was such a vacuous comment from the McMillan nurse! She knew d@mn well that that wasn't an option! Last year I was brought in to a&e, it took 20 hours to be seen, 24 to get a bed only to be told I would not get drained until 4 days later! So whatever I do, I am best off hanging in, even though I knew I would suffer.

That was the fastest turnaround I've had for my eye check today. They have a new machine to take the pictures so that probably helped. Still waiting for my eyes to return to normal.

The old one wasn't working. Well, not all the buttons all the time. The batteries were fine, so I just gave them a charge and put them in the new one.
