Yep
Mr Pix was hoping next year but with bills rocketing I don't think his stress head would let him
in the meantime I'll just sit here pushing bits of paper about whilst he sits on a truck downstairs moving pallets!

Our bills are capped until April. Think we'll be OK after that so long as we can get a reasonable deal. If not we'll just have to turn the heating off and wear layers.

Just ordered some oil for the heating, will need to be even more frugal than usual with it, 90p a litre is nearly twice its usual average.

When I saw my sister last week she said the same about heating oil which she has to use because there's no gas in the village she lives in. It's really shot up in price to fill her tank.

There didn’t used to be any gas here, when it arrived we looked at changing but the cost was extortionate and would have taken years to pay back, now gas has go e up so much I think we’re better off with the oil, anyway. Can keep an eye on prices and usually buy when it’s cheapest - that hasn’t always worked thouh. Also, when you have a finite amount in the tank it drives frugality as running out is a right pain

My sister doesn't have the option to switch but I think what you say about the cost and the tank running low applies.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
