Away for the week but have been awake since stupid o clock. Partly my body clock objecting to spending hours on the m6 yesterday and partly fretting about the cat who has been poorly (she is ok and is being pampered by her cat gran and can auntie).

Have opened all the windows but such breeze as there is resembles a grumpy teenager lounging in bed. :)

Breakfast. It's a bit cooler downstairs now with doors and windows open. Not enough sleep last night, awake from 1.30 til about 4. Next door's dog was yapping at 3.30 just as I was dropping off.

Interview with a fireman on the radio just now, it was definitely a barbecue that caused the fire yesterday. FFS, what's the matter with people!

morning all

Didn’t wake up, so no run this morning. Hot and sticky already.

Wondering whether cooking tonight’s dinner on the bbq is such a good idea, the garden is very brown and crispy. Probably best not to risk it.

Annoying persistent cough. I need to test but I’ll be disappointed to test positive so I’m putting it off. Cleaning on agenda, I’ve done dishwasher etc

Walk with the dog earlier on the beach. Now sat on the couch I have tea. Next door has workmen nailing things into the wall. Very annoying.

On the way home from parkrun via Sainsburys. Didn't buy salad but have a ton of lazy fruit.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
