Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Toad in the hole, third Friday in a row. Is there a more satisfying meal?

I don’t think I’ve ever had toad in the hole.

Opted out of pool session (kayak). I feel a bit off having felt ok earlier. Could happily go to bed but Dad is still working in the kitchen and I’d feel guilty.

Paid for a 2022 race. Not that mundane really. Cup of tea number five. The tea drinking is the mundane bit.

I'm hoping that by the time we leave for Edinburgh tomorrow, it'll have calmed down. Also hoping that Edinburgh is at least dry, otherwise apart from the gig we're going to, it'll be a pretty miserable weekend :(

The red warning is until 2 AM IW. Just back from collecting Callum from his work, interesting journey, couple of trucks parked well.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
