Mr W has lost the plot over objective setting for his performance management, it keeps getting sent back for improvement and I don't seem to be helping.

I feel very sleepy. I have a meeting at 3:30. Thinking about a sneaky nap.

Ha - I'm just back from a click & collect slot at Fleecy's Sainsburys. I must be 'every other bugger' that's booked them. I also have a delivery booked for next week ...

But I release how good our backwater Salisbury is compared to Camberley/Frimley
- They have a similar set up for click & collect, except they process 3 cars at a time. Instead of here, 1 at a time and v...e....r....y slowly. Took me 20 mins, and there were only 2 in front of me
- Petrol. I'm used to pay at the pump, no touch, no people etc etc. Here you need to fill, find a mask, go indoors, queue, watch the people in front get shouted at because they don't follow the one way system out. Which they can't see because of the people queuing in front of it. And only just remember to follow the one way system just before I get shouted at.

Made my day. More or less took up my day!

Oh - an I did get the rechargeable AAA batteries. Phone handset swap coming up.
Because the old batteries are old and don't hold a charge for long.

Oh, oh, oh I forgot. I replaced the batteries in my head torch. The old ones were flat and it wasn’t working properly. What a difference.

I need to charge my head torch batteries.

Because I dropped my other torch on the floor the other day while trying to wrangle it, a horse and my bag, and now it isn’t working.

About This Thread

Maintained by Johnny Blaze
I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
