Mrs D loved Vikings.

Earlier our eldest put together a Kahoot quiz based on our family language, history, and in-jokes. It was hilarious, even if a lot of the questions didn’t make sense.

Spectre on ITV2. It won't matter if I doze off as I've seen it before, but that makes it a totally undemanding watch and appropriate to my mood and amount of alcohol comsumed.

Red wine on the balcony and a sudoku. Listening to some drunken Spanish youngsters and a terrible singer in a neighbouring hotel. Funny.

We’ve played a variety of card/board games. I’m now in bed feeling overly full.

Victoria Wood.

In bed. The dog is noisily killing the packaging his Christmas present came in. Which is kind of annoying, but less annoying than him barking at a possibly non-existent cat outside the front window. I suspect he had a 3 hour nap while I was out earlier, and that’s why he’s now being a pain.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
