Maz I have notes on my laptop which I change daily to tell me what day it is and what day's work I am working on!

Someone forgot to turn the lights on today

Went to Sainsbury’s on my way home to get a few bits only to find a massive queue and the car park full. They’ve put up a huge marquee in the car park, I think to contain the Christmas queues. I forgot how much I fucking hate supermarkets in December

Also see my previous whine about B&Q! Sainsbury’s was open during lockdown, why flock there today?!

Sent my Godson a birthday card.

He is going to be 11. Seems like a difficult age - too old for ‘child’ cards, adult ones are either boring, or rude, or about things that he won’t relate to.

Tink has just secured a job in Sainsburys. I shall ask her to let me in to do my shopping when it's closed.

Still dark. Time has flown. I have to go out in a minute to collect the children from school and I also have to pop into the supermarket for some things for dinner for tonight and tomorrow.

halfpint of mulled cider
Written a snotty email and dealt with christmas present enquiries from my sister. Multitasking. Of course I may well have slipped bawbags or the Usual Suspects into my email.

The rain hammering on the attic windows is making me want to cry.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
