I've been a bit unsuccessful in retiring so far, but am at the point where I will retire if I stop enjoying work.

[Can you switch on wifi calling v'rap? Assuming you can be some place with wifi.]
[although knowing Vodafone, you probably need a real phone signal to authenticate yourself to turn it on]

I have successfully retired, and am due to get a nominal 'salary' increase as my second pension kicks in at the start of Oct.
I have successfully repelled any offers or suggestions of returning to paid employment, salt mines or commuting anywhere.

I have successfully set up 6 Jamboards, 6 separate meeting links, assigned colleagues to 6 groups correspnding to a meeting link, assigned other colleagues a jamboard and 2 groups to facilitate an activity. I have communicated all of this in tables with links and created an idiots guide for those colleagues who will still not have a scooby what they are doing. I actually quite enjoyed the whole process. That said it is basically just yet another 'graffiti board' activity which we do all the f*cking time.

I am nearly 57 and this year has been the first year I have been seriously thinking of retiring . Just think work has changed so much. I have a pension from my divorce so need to look into it.

I have about 25 years before I can claim a state pension. None the less I dream of retirement. I keep missing out on kayaking trips during the week and if the weather is shit at the weekend then I don't want to climb a hill.

Having an early lunch as I didn't have much for breakfast. I expect I will have a late lunch too.

I cooked sausages yesterday and there were some left over. I put them in the fridge and told Son2 he could have them today. He said he didn’t think he’d want them. I just went to the fridge to have one and they are all gone. I am irrationally irritated by this.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
