Lorry fire on A3 north between Hindhead tunnel and Thursley. Closed both ways. Mrs D is stuck in queue and needs a wee.

On a sofa, cup of tea.
A few little clouds started appearing as I left the beach. It was very busy down there and I got in the sea 3 times. Blooming cold until you got used to it then lovely. Very cloudy now but I don't think it will rain.

The sun disappeared at lunchtime so it wasn't as scorchio as expected. Strangely sedate send off for colleague. It's just not the same.
Planning tomorrow's bike ride - Burma Road from Aviemore. Not confident of my navigational skills especially since part of the route falls off the map and I don't have the adjacent one. Turn right after crossing the river and follow that is the strategy and should get us back onto the map again. Sunday is a paddle on the Moray coast. I'm going to stay with my aunty so I get a catch up too. Busy start to annual leave. Tuesday will be a lazy day (aka housework and food shop)
