We are in the Bradford area. My understanding is we can’t have friends in the house, or our garden, or go to friends’

On a day to day mundane level I’m not that bothered. I’ve no inclination to go out in the current climate and don’t drink anyway. My concerns on a less mundane level are about the economy. These flare ups are halting a return to normal (mundane) life and reinforce my belief that anything approaching a familiar life could be many months away at best

Coffee and home made hot cross bun. Not mundane at all - delicious.

Good chat with my line manager with a tea and some biscuits. It is now tea time though and I think I might have another. I have loads to do but no motivation whatsoever. My mind has moved onto planning for my 'holiday' next week. We aren't going anywhere but will be out and about doing bike rides, hills, paddling, climbing. I need to factor in takeaways and eating out so it feels more like a holiday though.

Boiled. I think I might have a shower then put on the next load of washing.

Finished off the little bit of housework I planned. Cuppa followed by reading for the rest of the morning. Then waiting for it to be a bit cooler so I can do my weight training session.

A great drying day on Costa del Crosby. Not so welcoming to the older runner who dislikes a temperature above 15 deg. C....

Warm, isn't it? Just had my first wee for 6 hours, very unlike me.

Second load of washing out. I should have something else to eat but when it's this warm I can't be bothered.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
