Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Espresso in the garden. I have worked for the day. I'm usually p/t 4 days per week but am doing 2 proper days at base and 3 short ones at home.

I think my big boss has forgotten this as she said she'd call me back before the end of my hours today and hasn't called. I'm not bothered as if she does call me she won't mind that im not working.

Only saw a couple of other runners out on "my" field paths today - almost back to their usual post-dogwalk time levels of desertion.
Has the whole country gone to the seaside?

I guess they've all gone to Bournemouth beach. The locals don't actually go to that part of the beach, it's very rare to hear English being spoken there these days. I think I'll go for a walk near there, have my first paddle in the sea for this year and investigate.

Can’t decide which supermarket to go and queue at after work. I’m bored of Tesco.

Coffee. It's unbearably hot and stuffy at my desk.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
