Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That was what started us off discussing it, Lizzie. :-)

I did not, Fleecy, but I bought mine in Tesco, so they may have gone round to Waitrose and bought them all up. They DID seem quite expensive...

When Fellmouse started nursery school she told me, "William's vegetarian, what's that?" I told her it meant William didn't eat anything with a face. "So he can't have smiley faces with his chicken nuggets," said Fellmouse in the manner of someone who understood completely.

Potato waffles are better than chips (better meaning easy to cook and eat like smiley faces)

You can put chips in a toaster but it's a bugger getting them out again. Take the battery out of the smoke alarm before trying this at home.

I was having soup for lunch but got distracted by an e-mail, forgot about it and it's now welded to the bottom of the pan :(

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
