Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I didn't appreciate the beauty of a mass display of dandelions until a couple of days ago.

(Because the facility is managed in zones: a continuous alarm means evacuate outside or to the next zone, an intermittent alarm indicates an alarm in a neighbouring zone. I’m here to prevent people moving into a zone with a continuous alarm sounding)

That's funny, Jeremy Vine (professional twat on Radio 2), is doing an item about people getting a dog because they are at home during covid 19. That is exactly what next door has done, not the old people, the young newbies, both with full time jobs. What the fuck are they going to do when they have to go back to work, the idiots, and the bastard dog yaps all day.

Ah true McG, but last time I ordered it said unavailable full stop so I’m hopeful that I might get a bread mix at least. Also hopeful people will stop bloody baking and then complaining about gaining weight :) We are down to the last batch of part baked rolls so ds2 will have to start on pancakes next

That is irresponsible WS, though maybe they won’t be working in an office full time in future? Or hopefully they will get a dog walker if not...

I got Internet Yeast as advertised on the baking thread - it must be a catering pack for the baking industry. It was vacuum sealed. Hopefully it'll keep!

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
