The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
I started looking at the sports watch comparisons but it's all too much. I think the issue is the variety of activities I do. I'm not sure I really need one. I go through phases of wanting to log/track my activity.
I'm going to watch a movie (probably watch part of a movie and nap).
I've got a Garmin 235 HP and I've just been downloading some apps to it to log the likes of Yoga and Plyometrics though I'm not sure how that will work.
I’ve been ‘thinking about’ buying a sports watch for about a year. In that time I’ve also asked all my friends at least twice if they have an old one I could buy, which results in multiple people saying ‘of course!’ And no watch ever being forthcoming.
Really I just want a watch I can wear when I’m riding and can’t get to my phone. And if I’m going to buy a watch then I might as well buy one that does other stuff. Of course at the moment I can’t ride at all, so that’s that problem solved.
