Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lol LG - I need to up my baking game!

Did some circuits in the garage and now suspect I'm going to be throwing money at a particular sports retailer online every few days, having many email notifications for when things are back in stock - just got first email about an axle bar coming back into stock, so duly ordered!

Son2 was due to have his boiler serviced by British Gas but due to the 'situation' this has been postponed. The revised date he's been given is 25th December 2021. We're assuming it's an April Fool :-0

Lol! Maybe it’s a placeholder date?
I went to Sainsbury’s. It was hideous. They wouldn’t let ds1 in as he’s not 18 yet so I had to cram shopping into a basket and balance it all without dropping anything, try to remember what was essential, make 3 trips to the checkout and scan it in two lots as it wouldn’t all fit into the scales. All whilst trying to avoid staff and customers. Then lug it home, at least with ds1 helping. My arms ache now!

The bank was good though, we queued up for 5 minutes then they came and took ds1’s cheque off him since he had a paying in slip.

What's with the age restriction? And what about a trolley?

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
