Moving house - very stressful, Paula. If you continue to avoid Having Words you'll be doing astonishingly well.

Still pissing it down. I’d quite like to go back to bed. Instead I’ll go to the station.

Mobile library (in the rain), then Sainsburies, then petrol (seems to be mass buying today), then Tescos (even more mass buying). Am now hoarding all the plastic wrapped packs of tins of beans, tomatoes, sweet corn for corona or brexit, or just because they were stupid prices (12p for 3 tins of hoops, 18p for 4 tins of baked beans, 21p for 4 tins of chopped tomatoes etc etc). Seems they are banning plastic wrapped tins of veg & fruit after today.

Lots of surface water around, it is just running off the hills and fields, the drains are overflowing. Nelson the Nissan has bravely splashed through. Welcome to sunny Sussex by the sea.

According to The Independent, Tesco plastic ban starts Monday for new shipments, but existing stock would still be sold.
Might pop in later for a look, though
