Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Just got in. Did I miss anything on the telly?

I need to hang up the washing. And attack the trees in the garden again.

I enjoyed The Wedding but that was possibly because I was in a good mood anyway and @Queen_UK was making me laugh and the music was great and they chose two of my favourite hymns (both make me cry) and Meghan demonstrated via her dress what 'less is more' means and she looked fab. And I felt rather sad for her that of all her family only her mum was there, and the American pastor made me laugh.

It was OK :-)

We've done loads of sightseeing and eating. Budapest is lovely. Storm arrived and we all got wet in our shorts and vests. Back at apartment before a big night out later.

On another train. Clapham Junction. The train in fron has broken down. Before too long perhaps .

Now on another train at clapham junction. The previous one is stuck in p13 and they have sent the next one, on which I now am, to p15. Tje last one was for Eastbourne but this is for East Grinstead. In any case I am getting off at East Croydon.

The Eastbourne train has just overtaken this one. It makes no difference to my journey.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
