Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Two lightbulbs delivered today. This is slightly non-mundane, as they are pesky BC3 bayonet which you find in places in new builds to force you to use low energy bulbs. Every bulb in the place is already low energy where possible anyway, so this is just annoying.

Home and on a sofa. Stroppy teen was actually very stressed teen. We got him as far as the car park at school but I then had to drive him home and then drive to Inverness for an autism network day. Arrived frazzled and 30 mins late. Network day was waste of time apart from the lunch/tea breaks where I caught up with colleagues.

I went to Tesco for potatoes, bread, wine and eggs.

But they didn't have any eggs :-( In fact I've never seen such denuded shelves in a UK supermarket. No eggs, little in the way of veg, yet they had so many avocados that they were reduced to 9p each - they're ripe but not over-ripe by the feel of them, so I bought several. No ham or other cooked meats (apart from the Polish stuff - the local Poles must have missed the 'Panic Buy!' memo last week.)

Shortly to go to tesco.

In the next 3h50 we have to do this lot:
Drive an hour to 90 mins.

Do a week's shopping.
Cook and eat tea.
Possibly go to a meeting at chuch. I predict this won't happen.
Collect people from Gatwick.

Fierce and Focused Fleecy
Kids fed, I ate the yolks that ds1 left (the best bit of an egg, surely?)
Now for my fish, which needs a completely different temperature, and chard and PSB.
I have ironed lots of shirts.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
