Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My local supermarket is Morrisons. Food, an aisle of toiletries, an aisle of snacks and soft drinks and snacks, an aisle of booze. No clothes, no electronics or toys, and a handful of newspapers and magazines squished at the front of the store. I always feel constrained by the choice on offer and would rather drive further to more luxurious stores.

Back home and in a chair. I walked up the hill and felt that it did me good. I saw a man running up then down the lower hill when I went out. I'd be too frightened of slipping up if I did that.

Have been out for a meal with the 'girls' I used to work with. As usual at that pub I had a lamb and mint burger. The chips were exceptionally good but I left the last two because I was absolutely stuffed.

I need to go to bed, but I’m all warm here on the sofa with my blanket and hot water bottle.

A bit concerned that Maz is now a monty pythonesque one armed person, in a battle of wills with a small dog, who seems to be getting the better of her.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
