Hanneke and Dvorak - yes, my fuchsia has plenty of leafy growth (dies right down in winter but comes back in late spring), just no flowers.

My almost killed Buddleia has recovered. It may even flower soon.

I didn't know you can kill budelias they are absolutely rampant in every crevice round here.
We've got a white flowering one which I've never seen before.
I saw a passion flower the other day. We had one in Surrey but I didn't think it would grow here as it needs warmth and sunshine. Might see if we have a sunny spot for one as I love the flowers and animals like the fruits.

We had a really hard late frost after the leaves had appeared. I had to cut it right back to where the surviving buds were showing some sign of life.
It is considered an invasive alien, and I believe you're supposed to remove the dead flower heads to stop it seeding everywhere. Just not where I live!

I had a white buddleia but it died last year. There is a self-seeded purple one in the back garden.

Fizz :-)
I bought a Gigantomo tomato plant at the church stall in June. (We call it Guantanamo easier to pronounce!) We harvested our first one today, at exactly 1lb, it’s smaller than it should be! Made a lovely lunch though.
