Fragile Do Not Bend
If hot composting is that much work I won’t bother 😅

The bins are also really expensive for what basically is a thick polystyrene box!
I wonder if giving a jacket to a Dalek achieves similar, as they tend to not get as hot as a larger square bin... Watch this space!

I had certainly never thought of adding a hot water bottle to a compost bin.

Rosehip
A hot bottle in the middle to get things going a bit is a good idea.

I have a ‘hot lips’ salvia under the lounge window, it’s usually covered in bees, but today a hummingbird hawkmoth was busy on it too

Wow! Spectacular Rosehip, even with the photographic limitations. I’ve never seen one of those and I don’t think we have them round here. Wish we did

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’ve seen loads of posts on Facebook locally this year about them, I wonder if it’s a particularly good year? I’ve not seen one in my garden but I have seen one in a nearby ornamental garden.

I've had one of those in my garden - I don't think I've ever seen one before.
