Mine were all kept in the greenhouse....although 2 of the plants did have a brief spell of a few days & nights in the veg bed when they were thought to be pumpkin plants, and vice versa!

So this fruit came from one that has been in the greenhouse all along. The other 100% greenhouse plant is a little behind, but both bearing fruit. The "travellers" are both a bit further behind still, so temperature under development looks a likely cause!

I planted 8 seeds, got 7 plants, gave 2 away and accidentally killed one when trying to bring it back into the greenhouse.

My tomato plants are starting to set fruit too. And the "slow" tomato seeds that didn't germinate at the same time are all up as well. I need to give a few more away, now!

My gherkins all died when I planted them out. The only survivor is the one I’ve grown for my sister. That has lived on the veg bed but in a pot. Not sure why mine have died when they have virtually identical conditions 🤷‍♀️

Yay, well done 3M; first crop 👍👍 Love the cucumber / pumpkin travellers 😂
Would suggest the pot offered an advantage GM? Could it have been marginally warmer / more stable root ball? 🤔
Heated greenhouse, very swish🙂

Rosehip
I have two plants in the unheated wall- backed tiny greenhouse, they each have 4 or 5 little cucumbers forming, the plant that went outside is barely growing, let alone flowering. I usually manage outside varieties Ok - except that last year the slugs got them

The first chillis are about ready - Hungarian hot wax :)

Had a tiny cauliflower for my dinner, no idea why the heads are so small this year.

I have given up on cauliflowers. They invariably look like white sprouting broccoli :)

The first one did that - on really long stems, the others are forming heads, but they don’t get very big before they threaten to bolt.

Fragile Do Not Bend
So far I have just the one ping pong sized little cauli.

I should have the first few ripe tomatoes soon! Some of them were overwintered cuttings, I’m so pleased I managed to make it work this time (last time I tried, they were in a room that proved to be too cold and dark).

Didn't realise you could overwinter tomato cuttings!
