Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Excellent. I had out the back at the end of the summer. You don't see so many these days.

Experimental PakChoi and Mizuno in the out in the greenhouse. Strawberries too to try and force them on....

Strawberries are day-length dependent if I remember my RHS Horticulture exam, so presumably you have one of the new "day-neutral" varieties?

We're going to clear some bits tomorrow with a view to getting the space ready for a greenhouse. Our cold frame got destroyed in one of the storms this winter 😂

I have no idea.

I found a few small seedlings growing in one of my raised beds, (I guess from composting) so I potted them, pinched out the fruit last year, pegged the runners. Now I have 25 strawberry plants.

It's an experiment.

Where they were is having Broad Beans put in.

no, loads of time yet - just about everything catches up.

I've got chilli seeds in the propagator, otherwise haven't got around to anything else yet
