Rosehip
Looking forward to seeing the pics of it doing its job full of tomatoes or whatever :)

I ache again this morning, my old joints have forgotten how to cope with al the bending and kneeling and carrying.

(I shall get off the sofa and get on with today's jobs soon - but I've discovered the original series of River Cottage on 4OD )

Very nice greenhouse, and they are a b*gger to put up so well done. Make sure you put a chair in there so soak up some rays.

Peas, carrots, parsnips failing. Most odd.

Onions good.

Broad Beans good.
Cabbage good.

Potatoes good.

Parsley excellent.

Squash I am hopeful.

My chilli plants are here :)

first earlies poking they're heads up
parsnips OK
about half the onions showing - same for the garlic
radish planted along the parsnip line doing really well :)

carrots starting to show in their planter

think my cherry tree - which has been in a big pot for about 12 years as it never found a home has had it :(

I have two courgette plants and two sweetcorn plants, along with a bunch of beetroot sproutlings...they're all really sprouts! I was waiting for it to warm up before I sowed any carrots as I seem to recall they don't like to be replanted!

Should I plant parsnips in a large container or in the ground? Never grown them before. Ground is very stony.
