Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am trying to think calm thoughts. Imagining nice, gentle inclines and declines.

Running smoothly along and not being last.

Not giving up half way up the first hill
Not sitting in the middle of the steps and sobbing...
Not having to be rescued from Juniper top (or bottom)

Argggghhhhhhhh!!!!

All I can say is that there had better be cake at the end! And beer to numb the pain. With vodka at the water stations for the same purpose...

I ran the first hill from cold the other day. And gave up halfway up it.

I've read that most people start walking 800m into this race. So I am going along with that.

Best thing to do is to PACE ourselves!! We'll all be fine as long as noone is trying to win!!!

I'll try this race when I can run properly - if I tried it now I'd injure myself badly.

Good luck nutters!

I'm gonna win, I'm gonna win! How hard can 300ft of climbing be over 13 miles?

Sorry? What? 3000ft !!!!!!!!?????????? Well that's just stupid - who'd want to do that? Can't be bothered now.

Just looked at the runners and riders for this 'race'. Seems like the first and second ladies from last year are back for more. Well I'll show them...

:-O

This is all fighting talk. Obviously.
