Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Oh bugger. If someone capable of 6:30 miles over 8.5m struggles like that....

Boo - doggie not coming as she'll be too hot and too much to handle for hours on the side of a hill - be bad enough with a 7 year old and 12 year old!

What a blog - sounds about right! Rich ran (although that is a euphemism - it is jog/walk/run and bliddy hard work) it in 2007 and felt knackered but ok and his mate Bill looked like he was dying - he was positively grey! I made Rich drive home too, I'd had a glass of wine or two with Bill's wife, while we waited for them to come in!:)

Although I have done more training than he had. And sounds like more off-road and hills. But am about half as fast in the first place.

Evening all!

I'm glad my blog was of some use :)

I'd done done very few miles in the months preceding the Munro, so if you have done some training you will be fine :)
