Message for Dr Robert from RW forums....
"Looks like Lucozade orange squeezy packs will not be available. Instead there will be a variety of flavours of 'Body Fuel Drink' in 500ml bottles at the half way and finish"
Still nothing about the chair lifts thou

Ahh, I think I'm allergic to Body Fuel, looks like I'll have to give this a miss this year!

I see that heavy rain is forecast for Saturday - so road shoes or trail shoes? I wore my trail shoes for the Knacker Cracker(and I needed them!) but that was January!!

Lil, I wore trail shoes when Ogee and I recce'd the route a few weeks ago. It was dry that day but they were perfect: there's a bit of mud on the course, and they're very handy for grip on the steep slopes. TBH, there's not so much that you can get into a long steady rhythm on, so you're unlikely to miss the cushioning, especially over the 1/2 distance.

Thanks for the advice Naomi - I'll probably be better off in 'walking boots'!!

Rather the lightest shoes you own, you don't want any extra weight up those hills!
