We kept petplan going for our current 2 (Maine coons) and upon discovering a bit of an issue with one of their hearts (not HCM) so we had over £1500 on vet bills per year for the last 3 years and then another £800 on dentistry, so it's worked out. It can be a crap shoot. The only thing I would say is read the fine print, particularly as the cats get older.

They've not been round for a while, and it's been a hot day for a cat with such dense fur. After a some fuss we sat together for a bit before they'd had enough of my company and wandered off.
