No need to duck Doc and thanks Scribbler. A friend & I were discussing food intolerances. It’s the cost of Zoe that puts me off. Hopefully logging food will show a trigger, I ate a lot less bread over Xmas but I also wasn’t eating normal meals. Although severe bloating isn’t unusual neither. |

@geordiegirl tinkering around with food is fine, and even quite spectacular bloating does often end up being attributed to diet and/or stress, but do see about getting your digestive system investigated.

What actually IS the bloating? Is it gas or fluid? I sometimes get it, can't see my own feet. |

It's your nerves https://www.gastrojournal.org/article/S0016-5085(51)80088-X/pdf It was called "abdominal proptosis" when I was a medical student (Partly gas, you'd be in no doubt if you had intestinal/peritoneal cavity fluid shifts sufficient to swell you up visibly, and partly relaxed abdominal wall muscles.) |

Yes, gas sounds less disastrous!
