As it should be, run free. Mr Ness gets free prescriptions because of his thyroid problem. I’m happy to pay while I can afford to. |

Giving you a combination HRT tablet along with desogestrel isn't what I'd have done, I'd have given you double the dose of desogestrel plus oestrogen only HRT, ideally in the form of a patch or gel. It won't do any harm, it's just illogical.

nhsbsa.nhs.uk It’s a shame your pharmacist hasn’t mentioned it to you! Pay for three months or twelve for a fixed fee and it covers all your prescriptions. I did see recently that more prescriptions are free (eg cancer, contraception, exemptions) than paid for! I did always wonder why they always asked if I paid! |
