"More Technology"

They are lycra pants with a leathery pad to stp your perineum rubbing off, how much technology is involved in that?

Wow, they 'free your mind'. My mind has been caged recently so freeing it with some poncey lycra pants could be just the ticket.

I love this thread. Sadly nothing relevant to contribute but I did walk past the legendary Herberts of Liverpool salon today and notice that alongside the more-is-more hair styling, "celebrity" extensions, bling bling nails etc. they were offering colonic hydrotherapy. Bull***t if ever I saw it....

Don't think this has been mentioned yet but that reminds me of all those fish-spa things that have opened. I walked past one and picked up their leaflet. They were trying to big up the 'scientically proven' aspects by giving the scientific name of the fish species they use etc. However they slightly undermined thiss by adding that the fish 'literally kiss your feet'

Really? Are they so atttracted to my feet? Or are they instead merely tugging at dead bits of skin?

The latter, McG. They're just hungry. And we, as insurers, won't touch them due to the risk of cross-infection. I'm not certain there have been incidents but the possibility is there that they will spread infections as the same fish are used over and over for many treatments, and none of the firms operating them that came to us had any sort of ideas or plans to prevent it. In fact I don't think they had even considered the possibility.
