Well done guys stick with it.

Meant to do mine straight after my run this evening, but forgot when I came back in - I think I was still marveling at running in the snow!

Sets just done.

Just done 3 X 19. Gave myself a full 2 mins between sets as this is getting tough. Finished them in 5 min 41 sec. My excuse for struggling was running 33 miles in thr snow this morning (and a good apart of the afternoon). Frankly I was amazed to do them :-)

After a few days of Christmas party related excess, I'm now back on it

3 x 16 push ups
3 x 16 crunches

I've decided to do it every day, but increase reps every other day - I think I've got a better chance of success that way

Just did the 3 x 13 that I skipped the other day. Even with a few days off they felt pretty tough, but much easier than 3 x 14.

Managed 3 X 20 tonight in 5 min 52 sec. Not getting any easier, but still in there :-). Tomorrow I might equal milemonster. Im not sure what to do when I fail to make the extra rep. Do you give yourself a day off, or do you have an easy day?

Don't worry EFB...it's not going to happen to you ;-)

Seriously I think it's horses for courses. I felt I needed a couple of days off but I might have been better dropping the intensity and continued doing something every day. It you're really tough then you might just keep plugging at it until you either get it or your arms fall off.

About This Thread

Maintained by Dogtanian
Start on day 1 with 3 x 1 press up. On day 2 move to 3 x 2 and keep increasing by one every day. If you fail to do the target for the day then you try the same number the next day, only increasing when you have done the session properly. The Marathon talk challenge is to get to 3 x 100 push ups.

There are no real rules except all three sets must be done in the same session though. No going to wash your hair/walk the dog in-between sets:-).
