Boston is double that with Sportstours so that might be a no go in the future?

It's the single room supplement that beats me up, which is why I've never bothered with the operators while I've managed to get pulled by the ballot.

finding someone to share with is key with travel companies if not taking a partner. Some will try & match you with someone & split a room but of course gambling on getting a Pycho like DeeGee LOL !!
Chicago's splashing out will be mitigated by staying one night in a Polish hostel & 2 in a Berlin hostel for parkrun & marathon in September. Probably stay at "Big Mommas" again in Berlin

Some decent pricing at the moment in the British Airways sale - Just booked Chicago (& Whilst I cashed in my Avios) it was only £515 return per person.

Economy?
I flew to O'Hare last year right up the back for £100 and a bucketful of Avios.
I paid £790 for Virgin Upper Class to New York although that's now wiped out all those points.
I'll look at BA, though, I'm rather Avios rich again thanks to Mr John Sainsbury.
