Gritts!
I think Italy removed the requirement for a doctors certificate. I didn’t need one for my marathon there last Feb.

That would be great! Even when I lived in Italy it was a pita and a cash cow for private sports doctors.

I did Rome in 2019 & there's no need for a medical letter or cer anymore - they have a FIDAL waiver for you to sign (FIDAL is the Italian UKA - Federation Italia D? A? L ?!!)

great news, Foxy! I ran Rome in 2017 (the year of The Thunderstorm) and I had to get a certificate and be a member of a club. Huge hoohaa and waste of money to be told I was absolutely fine.

now might be struggling to keep my annual US streak going so looking at Nov / Dec over there - Seattle, Las Vegas & Cocoa Beach are on my potential shopping list (I've done Seattle once & Vegas twice, I vaguely know the Cocoa Beach area having visited Melbourne last year & watched a rocket launch there in Jan, but not run it)
