Curly, I presume your GP has done a load of blood tests on you?

Thanks Katie - will think about something relaxing music wise :)

I do yoga so we do some breathing relaxing stuff at the end that would be good actually - cheers hadnt thought of that.

No PH - I had basic bloods done when at A&E (all normal). I am going to ask for that tomorrow at the gp. I have done a symptom list which is pretty depressing reading but what with my head and memory at the moment I know I will forget stuff so it seems to make sense.

I had an MRI in 2001 where I was very much encased in a small closed environment which only the loud noises of the machine to hear. It was scary and for all I knew the staff might have gone home and forgot about me. I had no concept of how long was passing.

I had another MRI in 2011 where I was in a much larger machine, they played the radio and the operator spoke to me every 5 minutes so it was a nice, relaxing time.

Some people might give you stories about how horrible an MRI scan, but if there are talking of experience from a decade ago then things have moved on a lot. They aren't places I'd choose to hang out admittedly, but they are much better than being sat on an uncomfortable chair in an ugly waiting room.

Yep fraid so Joe! Will be at least a few weeks before any results and it may not show anything of course...

Thanks for the info on MRIs Wirral and Lorraine, I'm hoping it wont be too long as it head and neck not whole body.

Wow that was hard work. She refused to do any tests at first, but I got really upset so she said she would do them to get rid of me. She has got phone the hospital as some of them are specialist tests so no bloods taken yet.

Hate this. Bad enough feeling ill without having to fight people to find out what is wrong with me. She accused me of being "obsessed" with being ill, partly because I took a list. She is going to call me back later. Look forward to that...
