FFS, I am going to have to get my family to form a queue for the bathroom just so I get the full pre race experience

haha See I did plan a camelbak and buff so it didn't rub my neck but Tuesday I ran with a rucksack and buff and still rubbed my neck! BUT I found a LS top this morning that has a collar! So I won't need the buff as that will stay put and stop rubbed neck
As they say never use of raceday kit you have not used in training so I have to do a training session tomorrow!

See I avoided looping past home as I didn't want to have the temptation of stopping!
Other routes passed shops but new route is flatter and more scenic

Running a solo marathon has its drawbacks so I'm going to make the most of the advantages 😁

haha My new route is along the canal which made me think of Outlaw as that's round the lake and down the river a few times so almost always water on one side I thought that alone may help remind me what I'm doing it for
