Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Let's talk about inaugural parkruns after they've happened.

I can see them scraping the inaugurals count from the "most events" table in at some point. :-(

Generally speaking though, the people who go out of the way to attend an inaugural are the kind of people you want for your first parkrun, they will know the parkrun drill well and will probably be fellow RD's, ED's and regular volunteers. (my wife and I are)

If an inaugural was to go "tits up" or they needed more volunteers for an unforeseen reason I would be more then happy to step up and help.

Lincoln was the biggest inaugural I have attended and it was VERY well run.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
