Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Let's talk about inaugural parkruns after they've happened.

Phew - I was worried for a second it was going to be in the (East) Midlands there and I would have had to have got to the inaugural to keep up my Midlands Regionnaire title...alas it's in Yorkshire, so maybe another time :P

Yes, it's a little far from Conkers to pop up for a 5k.

Well done on getting in off the ground though DeeGee.

Yorkshire? What? Who? Where.

I'm buggered if I'm letting that happen...

"A little far from Conkers"!

Until recently we had to go to Nottinghamshire to get our parkrun fix. As it is, I've got someone coming from Milton Keynes to our inaugural event. But no, that A46 is just too scary for those East Midlands folk to drive up ;-)

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
