Maybe Froome should be given a taser to he can taser the next spectator that pisses him off.

If you want an insight into team dynamics and doping do read David Millar's book, Racing through the dark. It's a great insight into how doping occurred and how much was known, us how easy it was to avoid getting caught (a few years ago at least). Plus how Millar was able to win clean-which is all the more sad that he did eventually dope.
It also shows how Brailsford's team approach would make massive gains on teams like Cofidis at the time, who had no rider support, training programmes etc.
I've read most of it in two days, nearly finished. It does give me more confidence that the sport is much cleaner now.

So here's my guess: Movistar will put a big attack in on the Croix-de-Fer to isolate Froome then Quintana will go for it up the Alpe. I don't think Froome will be able to live with Quintana but he'll only lose a minute or so. Squeaky bum time but Froome takes the overall.

With TVG gone, I'm vulnerable in 5th, especially to GC bonus points. Thomas dropping loads of time yesterday helps though. A Valverde bonk would be nice today.
So the Giro-Tour double, is it possible in the modern era? Contador has failed twice, and I can't see any other rider in the peloton that could do it. Froome looks too skinny (due to peaking for one GT) to hold form for two GTs in a row.
There's talk of Froome doing the Vuelta which will be interesting if it happens.

From CN live: Any hope in Quintana taking yellow? He's 2'38 down on Froome. Back in 2008 Carlos Sastre took 2'15 out of Cadel Evans on the ascent, so it's possible. However it's a huge ask at this point in time, especially given how Froome is climbing. At least Alpe d'Huez suits the Movistar man more than yesterday's final climb.

If they are going to take that time from Froome they need hit him hard and early, surely?
