It's fascinating. Like Meglet I got the feeling Froome was planning to go for it today so stayed within himslef yesterday and limited his losses .. but of course that might be a great big bluff and he's really feeling knackered. I guess we'll have to wait and see

They must be getting a bit fed up of climbing the Glandon/Croix de Fer, but someone will have to go for it, I think leaving it till the Alpe will be too late.
I am hoping there is no stupid fan behaviour on the Alpe interfering with the race

Fact is, if he had no problems staying with Quintana he would have. Even if he wins today, that doesn't tell us he took it easy yesterday.
