Harrogate is weird. For £500k you can get a decent 3-4 bed house in a nice area. A big 5 bed house in a shit area. Or a two bedroom flat with no balcony or garden in an ugly new building in the town centre.

Thanks for comments.

I find the houses were mark lives. South Derbyshire vary so dramatically. In my town a 3 bed sent will always be on at 325 no matter the state. A nicer one maybe a Bit more. But where mark lives there’s more variability anything’ from 175k- 300

Does anyone have an idiot's guide to how to make a quilt? I want to use some of the tops I've got from races to make into a quilt, but don't really know where to start.

Was also talking to a friend about doing a quilt and she said that instead of buying backing fabric/wadding she would buy a cheap fleece blanket and see it to that instead

There’s lots of howtos online, I made one using a mix of mine and my late hubby’s T-shirts and backed it with fleece. Hardest part was deciding where to place them. I also used the ribbons from running medals as borders.
