Raptors Claws are coming to town
Thanks, Sushi.
As Meglet says, curling like this is inevitable if you knit stocking stitch right up to the edges. Blocking may improve it - if you can't face soaking and pinning out a scarf and the yarn is mostly sheep wool, steaming it with a hot iron (and with a piece of fabric, a tea towel or something like that, between the iron and your knitting) may help to some extent. If it's mostly acrylic, don't, you'll end up with a limp mess.
My advice, if you have time, would be to reknit it in garter stitch, moss stitch, or a slip stitch rib pattern. These have the advantage of being reversible rather than having a "right" and "wrong" side.

Thanks. Aa
It’s 80% acrylic and 20% wool.
Might try a little press just to se if it helps a bit if blocking doesn’t help.
Certainly not pulling it back and starting again to add a border!!!
Now you’ve all said it’s jogged my memory re stockinette.
Agree re some ‘roll’ on a scarf HB.
I think my friend will love it. You can just see a bit of hat in pic too.

If I did
P2 K12 P2 K2 P12 K2
And worked these 2 rows all the way would that solve problem?
Would still match hat as it has a rollback on it where you can see the ‘wrong side’
In fairness the wills so chunky and 12mm needles I knitted the whole scarf in an evening so not that big a job

I think you'd need more border stitches than 2. And probably knit the border both sides so it's garter, or try seed stitch.

Do what will give you a result that you KNOW you will be happy with.
(I feel for you. A couple of nights ago I noticed a missed cable about four inches back on a DK blanket at 11pm. That became a very late night.)

Yesterday I wore the jumper I made last year. Some of the early cables I did the wrong way but it doesn't really show. I'm sure there's an error further up but I can't remember what or where!

Thanks guys.
I do have time to alter it. It’s all adapted for a pattern I had for different yarn so quite pleased with myself for it making it work (esp hat)
Just a bit reluctant to add in seed stitch as none in the hat.
Might do it
K4P8K4 P4K8P4
I’ll have a think whilst I do some chores and then reward myself with a bit of craftery later.
(Or could also go for leaving it as is and learn for next time)
I’m guessing once you spotted the mistake V’rap was no way you could leave it till morning!!!

Having seen the cost of cardigans in FatFace, Tink has asked me to make her one in the style she likes. I only have 200g of yarn in the colour she wants. I think I may just buy her the cardigan in the January sales.

I couldn't have left it, Sushi. It might have multiplied in the night Cables may be off my agenda for the next few projects.
