Nice, Wobbling!

I am sitting idly on the sofa browsing instagram and ravelry and keep coming back to the Gingerbread sweater by Truly Myrtle. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Timely cardigan I made and might do this for another project. Any recommendations for a smooth, fine DK that would show a crisp pattern - but not necessarily 100% wool as it gets too hot.

I’m using some Scheepjes merino soft for a cable jumper. Merino/acrylic/microfibre. Lovely and soft to knit with and doesn’t seem to be pilling.

There’s a pic here
ravelry.com

It does do that weird thing due to the twist where the stitches downy look like Vs, but I don’t mind that and it may just be my gauge

Indeed. My local yarn shop does a lot of their stuff including some very colourful crochet kits. I think they do advent calendars too

Your local yarn shop is probably near enough for me to visit, Meglet. Which one do you use?

It’s in Harrogate.

This one facebook.com Yarn Etc.

It used to be a standard old fashioned type shop with lots of baby acrylic in pastel colours. The lady who took it over a year or so ago has made it really nice, got lots of lovely yarn, has classes and stuff.
