Somewhat spontaneous purchase of wool, pattern and needles yesterday for me! Not knitted for years so a cushion cover to start with. Managed to cast on and do 4 rows stocking stitch (doing the back first) front has a cable panel... Looked at it this morning and felt all chuffed with myself 😃

I need some advice please in advance of our meet-up tomorrow: MrW (Andrew) is quite poorly and our GP thinks he may have flu. Although I’m symptom free I’m worried I could still transmit the virus and make you poorly, I’m thinking of Wine Legs twins here. Any thoughts?

And any self-care advice please? He’s taking Panadol and covonia. He has a hacking cough, sore sinuses and his throat is raw. No temperature. I’m staying at home today so he can stay in bed, though whenever he lies down he coughs. Poor boy.

Loads of fluids. I mean loads! Rest. Painkillers. That's it really. Fluids make a heap of difference. Get yourself some "first defence"

Wobbling, if you wash your hands and don't breathe in people's faces you won't be a biohazard :)

Squeak has had the 'flu vaccine, and I'm not planning to snog you Wobbling!! I reckon you'll be safe.

Lovely hat and cardigan, jabberknit. Squeak is refusing to wear her hat at the moment. Pip will happily wear it though :-)

Tomorrow should be good! Who was on our final list of attendees?

WineLegs
Silvershadow
Helegant
Wobbling
icemaiden (must remember nappy table!)
Drell (maybe)
jabberknit

That's a pretty good list :-)
Anyone else?

I’ve invited another Fetchie who lives in MK. She’s not responded yet but if she does I’ll let you know.

Excellent!

It is the Costa above Up & Running / Costwold Outdoor etc. (not to be confused with the other two Costa locations within a three minute walk ffs!!)

Postcode is MK9 1EN. Time is 2pm ish.

Selected for its proximity to the train station, except I think we're all driving there now!
