I think when you turn your work you need to make sure you turn back and forth, not round and round. Pix also had success by altering how she tensioned the yarn. |

I also tend to pull yarn from the centre of a ball, rather the outside, which some people says helps.

When you've eliminated the obvious casues such as twisting your work... *Some* yarns seem to untwist as they are knitted, causing a twist further towards the ball. When I see this happening I deliberately add the twist back as I knit by just rolling the yarn slightly with each stitch. |

Thanks all. I suppose as I'm knitting on circulars I'm adding a twist there anyway. I'll give your all suggestions a try.
