Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

i have a largish plastic box of cycling stuff, sitting atop another box with running stuff, both on the top drawer of the wardrobe. at least, that's what it looks like after I've tidied it all up (about twice a year). Once I start using it all again everything gets chucked back into whichever is the top box.

I have summer & winter kits. Once out, they tend to sit in a wicker basket & mostly last in first out, while the opposite season stuff is stuffed in a drawer. This month is a bit of a mess where I want light winter clothing some days, but t-shirt & shorts others, so the basket is overflowing.

I think it's more 'it ain't what you have it's what you do with it' I think being, and remaining so, organised will help. EP for your chest of drawers I'd use those Ikea drawer dividers.

Or go silly like me

*splutters* but, but, but there's space in that cupboard!

I thought cupboards were to stuff in as much crap as possible and then rapidly shut the door before it all spills out. In extreme cases you may need to place heavy furniture in front of said door if guests are visiting (pre-COVID, obvs).
My house generally looks pretty tidy, but Christ alive, don't open a cupboard!

@EP - the warning signs of my organisation were there when we met at the Centurion 5 miler, and I produced a hole punch from my bag so I could fix my race number to my top with event clips, without having to bodge holes in the number :-)

I have a hole punch in my race bag too, Sigh, for the same reason. I like you :)
