Tbh Grrrl, I hadn't expected bagpipes to dominate the conversation quite as much as they have.

But I suppose that's what they do - they're rarely inconspicuous 🤣

The irish whistle is pretty similar. I started for similar reasons nearly two years ago. If I use a low_pitched instrument it's not so bad, but the «penny whistle» size and be piercing and clear a room.
