That’s interesting, Pedro. I never sleep desperately well but am used to it. But currently sleep is virtually non-existent, so it’s comforting that you can adapt to 2-3hrs sleep long term.

I’m not too bad at sleeping, but between the cats, dogs, kids and wife, something always wakes me up early. Tonight it was the dog needing out fir a wee at 4am. Now he’s back on and snoring happily and I’m still wide awake.

I'd never considered that I could just talk to people across the water that would have saved years of boredom!
I didn't pick up my phone last night when I was awake I watched a film then led and led got annoyed at the cats who decided to chase each other around the house at 3am nodded of at some point and was woken by hubby at 5.30 going to work.
Dillthedog I find that too once I've been woken everyone else is asleep and I'm left wise awake! Frustrating

Yumee, I used to go days without sleeping, the record being 9 days, so a couple of hours has always been enough to keep me going.

Having not worked since 22 December, I am working from home tomorrow. I'm going to have a quick shower now and start working straight after. My logic is that I am unlikely to wake up early enough to start while the children are still asleep. I consider dropping-off at 12.30 am a good night at present.
During the initial lockdown, I was starting work at 7.30 am but as sleeping is becoming difficult, I probably would not be clear-headed enough to start much before 9.15 am.

Here we go again I stayed up late tonight to hoepfilly feel tired enough to go to sleep.. kind of worked listened to hypnosis at midnight and nodded off but then kept waking up. Its now 4.45 and I've been awake since 4.. managed to wake hubby up huffing and puffing about not sleeping and he got up and went to work early 🤣
Feeling really tense which isn't helping. My auntie has just tested positive for covid and my uncle who she lives with had a serious heart condition to say I'm worried is an understatement.

Sorry to hear that NN, that is a worry. I hope they both are ok. Which hypnosis thing do you listen to? Pedro 9 days?! I think I will reclassify myself as a really good sleeper in comparison with you!
I actually slept for a few hours last night, but now feel tireder than ever - which is often the way. I hope WFH goes ok today for you, Phil.

I tend to listen to a variety of hypnosis.
I like Paul McKenna mostly and have a variety of his programmes I can make you sleep, thin, etc
I have a mindful eating one and I have various deep sleep ones Michael Sealy on YouTube is good.
