Cheese and red wine for me. I can’t stop (well I can, but it doesn’t seem worth it given I’m in it for the long haul) so just damage control with a small portion, not every day, containing about 200 calories total.

my problem with sizing is that as I've grown wider, the size I buy tends to have stayed the same and grown wider with me.
I have a favourite pair of trews that are about 25 year's old and a skirt from the same era. I keep saying I'll slim back into them, but they are an 'old' size 12 and fit size 8-10 Daughter.

I eat healthily, hardly any processed foods, plant based (mostly vegan) I cook from scratch, I don't drink and only have the occasional treats, i.e. cake after parkrun, and sometimes 3 squares of chocolate in the evening if I have done a long walk or have run, apart from the weight increase, the thing that bugs me is shape change, I am so top heavy :-(

It’s cheese wine and crisps for me. I can keep the mouse at bay but still have loads of cheese from Xmas.

What’s the thoughts on if you don’t eat enough calories? I know my cal count is low and my protein is hopeless but I don’t know if I should eat more if I’m not hubgry.

Geordiegirl - I don't know. Perhaps the outcome would be that you slow your metabolism down. Also if you don't eat enough it could be harder to supply the nutrients and fibre your body needs.

Perhaps some research.

It will keep me busy when I'm stationary. I have found in the past it depends which side of the fence you believe. Then the fear that you're not eating much now and trusting eating more will help. I sometimes think I should just go with the body flow it wants to chose....

But from my own experience I have lost more weight when I've eaten more it is just pushing that boundary again.

Pix - definitely would affect training.

Ultra runners are usually very good eaters.
