Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

1300 calories mullered on my bike today and totally not hungry after

I have managed to eat now but it took 1hr to eat anything (a HXB) then a further 3 hrs to eat anything else.

Roast duck breast for tea so hopefully appetite will have properly returned by then

I had a banana for breakfast, then went to pick up a friend from the station who just returned from the States thjis morning. Now waiting for my Dutch little pancakes to warm up. It has become a very late brunch!
I did have a chocolate/orange hxb to keep energy levels up.

Went out for a long run today, but was feeling pretty lethargic and decided to call it a day at 15k. Despite a good 5k TT yesterday, I'm thinking I need a break. Am going to bump up to maintenance cals for a week and cut the training back.

Sounds like the right call azx.
I have decided I am doing precious little today. The weather is unpleasant and I am feeling very tired. On the sofa under a blanket reading the paper. Cycling and gardening binned. I will do the hoovering though.

I sent a timer to remind me not to sit down for more than half an hour, so I have finished sorting through a chest of drawers and wardrobe shelf and swept the stairs - jobs I've been putting off for ages. The bathroom has had a deep clean and I've randomly tidied other bits and pieces.

I'm hoping that keeping moving during the day will "rev the metabolism" up a bit.

That is a good idea RH! I move so much during the day, not today mind, that I could do with the opposite: have proper breaks!

RH - my Garmin must have gone back to default settings after a recent update. Got a surprise yesterday when it suddenly vibrated and told me to "Move!" because I'd been sat in front of the laptop for a while (something I'm sure I had switched off).

My weight was the same as last Sunday when I weighed myself this morning. Better than gaining any more weight - and now I'm signed up to MFP, the knowledge I'll be logging my food later, stops me from allowing too many 'blips' during the week.

I have just Garminned my chicken "sorting". Just over 800 metres of brisk walking, some of it carrying drinkers! They are 100 metres away from the tap, which is on the house. Up and down 4x bingo! I almost walked up and down once more, just to make it 1 km... Acruay, I will, then I log it! That is 7 kms a week, just to do the chickens!

Hello
Just sticking my toe in here - I need to shift some tonnage. I’ve lost 4lb in the last 4 weeks, but it’s hard work
